Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8 April 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the UK Furniture website and any orders you place with us. By using our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you should not use our website or services.
Who we are
UK Furniture supplies furniture and related products to customers in the United Kingdom. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean UK Furniture. References to “you” mean the person using our website or placing an order.
Using our website
Access to our website is provided on the following basis. If you disagree with any part, you must stop using the site.
- You must use our website lawfully and not misuse it (for example, no hacking, scraping in breach of our terms, or introducing malware).
- We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or change the site for maintenance or business reasons.
- Content on the site (text, images, logos, layouts) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without our permission, except as needed to browse and shop personally.
Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or pose a security risk.
Product information
We take care to describe products, dimensions, materials and images accurately. Colours and finishes may vary slightly due to screen settings and natural materials. If a product is unavailable or mispriced, we will inform you and may cancel or amend the order as set out below.
Orders and contract
When you place an order:
- Your order is an offer to buy. We will confirm acceptance by email or other written confirmation. A contract is formed when we accept your order.
- We may refuse or cancel an order (for example, if stock is unavailable, pricing is clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud). If we cancel after payment, you will receive a full refund.
Pricing and payment
- Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
- Delivery charges (if any) are shown before you complete checkout.
- Payment must be made using the methods we offer at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
Delivery (UK)
We deliver within the United Kingdom as described at checkout and in our delivery communications. Delivery dates are estimates unless we have agreed a fixed date in writing. Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided. You are responsible for checking access (doorways, stairs) for larger furniture items.
Cancellations and returns
If you are a consumer buying online or at distance, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving most goods (the “cooling-off” period), subject to exceptions for certain made-to-order or personalised items and items that cannot be returned for hygiene or other legal reasons.
If a product is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you may have statutory rights including repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact us with your order details and, where helpful, photos of the issue so we can help quickly.
Any additional goodwill returns policy we publish on our website or at checkout forms part of your agreement with us where it is more favourable and clearly stated.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profit or loss of opportunity) arising from your use of the site or purchase of products.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of a single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where the law requires otherwise.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, severe weather, industrial action, supplier failure, pandemic restrictions or transport disruption). We will try to minimise disruption and contact you if your order is affected.
Complaints
We want to resolve issues fairly. If you have a complaint, contact us using the details below. We will acknowledge your complaint and work with you to reach a resolution in line with our internal procedures and your statutory rights.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the UK, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of your home country if you have mandatory protections there.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will apply to new orders placed after the change. For significant changes we may notify you by email or a notice on the website where appropriate.
