Velvet Beds
Velvet beds bring soft colour and a tailored headboard look to UK bedrooms. Browse plush velvet frames in popular sizes with clear prices, fabric notes and mattress options on each listing.
Free UK delivery applies on eligible orders, with cash on delivery where offered and purchase chat if you need help choosing a size or colour.
A velvet bed is an upholstered frame — the headboard, and often the side rails, are covered in velvet — rather than a bare wooden frame with a loose headboard. Most of the velvet beds here are doubles and kings, with some singles. Sleigh, panel, wingback and Hilton shapes all turn up in velvet. Grey and black sit quietly. Cream and duck egg read lighter. Pink and royal blue are the ones you will notice from the doorway.
Check the headboard height against sockets, a shelf and any slope in the ceiling. A UK double is about 135 cm wide and a king about 150 cm wide, usually 190 or 200 cm long — the listing has the exact size, and says when a mattress is included. Our beds are sent with a premium memory foam mattress. Velvet on a bed gets less daily wear than velvet on a sofa, but hair product and damp hair will mark a pale colour. Blot, do not scrub. If the stairs turn tightly, tell us before delivery day.

FAQs
Most modern furniture velvets wipe clean with a soft cloth. Check the product page for fabric notes, and blot spills promptly rather than rubbing.
Listings cover common UK sizes such as double and king, plus selected toddler and single velvet frames. Always confirm the size on the product page before you buy.
Our beds are sent with a premium memory foam mattress. The product page confirms the size and what is in the box, so check that line before you order a mattress separately.
A sleigh curves at the head and often the foot. A panel bed has a flatter fluted or vertical headboard. A wingback has a tall headboard with sides that come forward. All three are available in velvet — the product photos show which shape you are looking at.
Upholstered frames often arrive in sections, but the headboard can still be bulky. Measure the tightest turn and the bedroom door. Message us with a photo of the stairs if you are unsure before delivery.
