This UK Furniture Return Policy explains how returns, cancellations, refunds and exchanges work for online furniture orders across the UK, including sofas, beds, dining tables, wardrobes and outdoor furniture. This policy sits alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
14-day change-of-mind returns
If you buy furniture online from UK Furniture, you can usually cancel within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund, unless an exclusion applies (such as certain made-to-order or personalised items).
- Tell us within 14 days that you want to cancel.
- Return items in saleable condition where possible, with all parts and packaging.
- Unless the item is faulty or we made an error, return costs may be your responsibility.
Faulty, damaged or not-as-described items
If your furniture item arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete, or not as described, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos. We will arrange an appropriate remedy in line with your legal rights.
- Repair or replacement where suitable.
- Price reduction where appropriate.
- Full or partial refund if repair/replacement is not possible or fails.
Items excluded from standard returns
Some products may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law, for example made-to-order, customised, or hygiene-sensitive goods once unsealed.

Return condition requirements
To help us process returns quickly, please ensure:
- The product is returned with all components, fittings, manuals and accessories.

For valid cancellations, we process refunds promptly after returned goods are received and checked, or after receiving acceptable evidence of return where appropriate.
Refunds are made to the original payment method. Banking/provider processing times may vary.
Delivery and collection for returns
For large furniture, collection may be arranged by our team or delivery partners. Charges may apply for non-fault returns, but no collection/return charge applies where goods are faulty or we delivered incorrectly.
Exchanges
Where stock is available, we may offer an exchange as a faster alternative to return-and-reorder. If prices differ, any balance will be charged or refunded accordingly.
